I was going through my pictures and found this piece from my Bhutan days. This place was one of my favourite where this Great Buddha Dordenma is located at Thimphu Valley. The statue houses 1,25000 smaller Buddhas like the great Buddha itself gilded in gold. The place was so peaceful and serene. I loved observing how people were looking at the 51 m tall statue with awe and affection. Human is a very dangerously powerful species. They can built something beautiful like this, and on the other hand they can also destroy one after another beauty of this world for their greed. What do you think?
